Who we are...

Growing Healthy Kids is a nonprofit that provides unique outdoor educational learning opportunities to over 12,000 students at 18 schools throughout the Mt. Diablo Unified School District in Bay Point, Clayton, Concord, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek.  Our program is fiscally sponsored by Life Lab (UC Santa Cruz), a national leader in garden-based education. We share their mission of cultivating children’s love of learning, healthy food, and nature through garden education, and a commitment to equity and inclusion so that all cultures and identities are respected and celebrated.
